I was supposed to have a second job interview today for Max & Erma's, but last night I got a phone call telling me that it would be an orientation...so I have a job! I filled out the loads of paperwork today, and I start training on Thursday. I'm excited to be a part of this company and it seems like the two managers I met are good people. My biggest concern is getting "allowed" time off for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but hopefully that won't be a big deal. It'll be good to have some cash flow again! And I'll be honest, I am looking forward to being a server in a "better" restaurant. The biggest downside besides getting busier is losing date night with my boyfriend. But we're adaptable--lunch dates are always nice!
Going home this weekend for a little R&R with kitties. And mommy. I just need a little time away, you know?

Thanks, me too. Once I get finished with training, I won't have to worry about finding a job, it'll just be part of my routine to work.
Well, good. Now you can cross one more care off your list. Pretty soon, you'll have more income and you'll probably enjoy the work overall.
