Black Friday

I'm not one of the insane "Black Friday" shoppers. That's just too early and too many people. Also, I didn't see anything this year worth going for (my brother on the other hand was out of here at 4:30am, an amazing feat considering you can't usually get him out of bed!).

We did end up going shopping though. Old Navy had cashmere sweaters on sale for $29.75, and I have a blended cashmere from a few seasons ago that I got there, so I wanted to get one. I thought perhaps I'd avoid the rush and crush by going online, only to find that the one sweater I wanted wasn't on the website ANYWHERE. Luckily they had it at the store, and I got a pink cashmere crew sweater and a gray one. I also ended up with a pink polar fleece, a pink owl tank top, and a white chunky long sweater (to replace my sweater with holes in the elbows that last a good long 4 years). We also went to Famous Footwear, and I ended up with a pair of Dr. Scholl's slippers that are so warm and comfy that I can't stand it. My old slippers were wearing out and these are great because the sole is hard rubber for indoor and outdoor wear. In all, a pretty good day.

Now I'm watching my boyfriend play Mario on the Wii...which is not much fun, so I think I'll kick him off!!
