An awful thing went down last night with my brother...I shan't give out too many details (there was a car accident plus...), but suffice it to say my family (and his girlfriend) are in utter shock. I feel that crooked cops are behind the largest part of the trouble which is truly an abomination. I hate it when cops can be swayed by a "buddy-buddy" system. Please send good lawful thoughts my hometown's way on Wednesday. And please please send fast healing thoughts to my brother down here at college with me.

i hope your brother is ok and that everyone in your family is safe. i noticed your away message when i got back into town, but i didn't realize it had something to do with an accident! if you need to talk or vent, you have my number. :)
nance--we sure have! and for the record, my mom still doesn't have a "real" job; she's been doing a long-term sub position since the beginning of the school year which is up soon.
b--my brother is physically fine, but still mentally shaken up. i hope we're still on for Zen Cha this weekend?
i never got a confirmation on that, are we doing it this weekend? when is the football game? i think that might cause driving problems for me.
I think I remember something mentioned about doing it this weekend. The game is at noon (I think), so that probably would cause driving issues. Perhaps we could do it on Sunday?
