I think the most satisfying quick dinner for me is pasta with a little butter, freshly grated parmesan cheese, and freshly ground black pepper. Delish.
I have nothing else to post these days. Classes are good but monotonous. Summer is winding down (oh dear...).

I actually cooked food tonight for the first time in quite a while. Almost every year for Christmas, my family (both sides) cooks a beef tenderloin in a burgundy wine sauce, and it's one of the most delicious meals ever (even soliciting comments such as "eating doesn't get better"). Although we normally buy a good $100 piece of meat for it, I went for an $8.00 piece of top round beef and it came out very delicious.
If you'd like, I can send you the recipe. Like an idiot, I forgot to take pictures (with my new phone in hand), but I'm not as much of a food blogger as you are, so that's to be expected.
I hardly remember to take pictures either! I might learn to next year when I have a real kitchen. Oh I can't wait for a real kitchen!
Definitely send that to me, it sounds delicious! Let me know if you need my e-mail.
I think I could live on pasta. It's so versatile and you can add almost anything--or almost nothing--to it for a good meal.
Too bad you aren't closer to me, Jen. I could keep you supplied with pesto and fresh herbs for your culinary delights all summer.
But my tomatoes...what tomatoes?!?!?
I wish I was closer! Perhaps at the end of the summer I'll stop over to try some of this pesto. My mom bought me a Chia herb garden, which I was very excited about, but it didn't work out too well. I really want to try the Aerogarden--it's for growing herbs and such indoors without the need for a sun-facing window.
