Yay/Nay

Yay for finally knowing that we'll have an apartment come August. Granted, it's the end of August and will lead to a few very stressful days of moving, but we have a place to live! Hopefully we'll have a couch and dining room chairs soon too, but I'm not too up in the air about those items. However, a bed (or at the very least a mattress and frame) are a top priority for me right now.

Nay for putting the car search on hold due to financial woes. I thought I had managed to find the perfect car for a good deal ('05 Honda Civic Ex with 18,000 miles for $14,495), but the details wouldn't work out with paying for it (and insurance). Blah.

Yay to going to Maryland in about a week. I'm hoping for some crab (as I do on all vacations). Nay to working the next 8 days out of 9. Here's to hoping I make good money by doing so.

You've got a job and an apartment. That's two steps above some of us ;-)

nance--yes, they are. I wish Columbus' public transportation were just a little better, then I could just use that and minimize car use. As it is, I could get to work, but not home. Hopefully I'll take a lot of pictures in Maryland!!

mikey--And a car that works, so I'll count it as 3 above some people :-) I know I'm lucky, and I try not to forget it!! Good luck with your job/apartment hunting!
