I'm feeling better, although I sound awful coughing. Whatever is in my chest is breaking up, so my coughs are those rattly coughs. I just need to be a little better by Thursday so that I can work without dying.
My ochem midterm went well. The test had two parts, both worth 60 points: multiple choice and a written part. I rocked the written part hard, though, I did worse that I would have liked on the multiple choice part. The instructor has a tricky way of writing questions, so that it's very easy to mistakenly fill in the wrong bubble even when I know the right answer. I lost 3 points that way, so I'm annoyed. I'm still sitting near the top of the heap, so I feel that I'm in a good position for the final. Which is coming up very soon. Ack!
I made a yummy dinner tonight--lasagna rolls. I perused a few recipes, and really created my own. They turned out pretty well, so I committed the recipe to paper, and I plan to make them again. I'm really starting to be able to create my own recently. I made really awesome chicken fingers a few weeks ago and I pulled together an Alfredo sauce that was darn tasty after looking at several recipes and choosing what I liked. I hope that next year I can really blossom in cooking because I think I'll end up cooking more since I'm living with (lazy) boys.
This weekend...more studying, of course! There's always something to study for. And I need to clean my bathroom and our kitchen. They're both looking really neglected!

Well, you sound so much better! And everything is looking up. I'm socked in with a second snow day, which is lovely but puts me terribly behind. OGT next week, and now only two days for prep. Sigh. AND ALL THIS FRIKKIN' SNOW!!
I am feeling better! I'm terrified of it turning into an ear infection or bronchitis, but as long as everything is breaking up, I should be A-OK.
It sucks how snow days throw everything off! It's the biggest reason we don't have them in college--one day out of class, and everything is crazy behind with only 10 weeks of class! And of course, we don't get nearly as much snow as you guys do.
It's annoying at the college level because it seems as though most (math) professors like to reschedule classes that we miss. Even if it's the professor's fault (going out of town for a conference), we have to find some other time to make up the class. Boo!
Yes! I hate that too. It's so silly, because typically you're not going to find a time that works with a room full of people. I've only had that happen in my major classes, and while I understand the sentiment, it's just irritating.
Those lasagna rolls sound really good. I'm glad you're feeling better hun. Have you ever tried to make a jelly roll or pumpkin roll? Pumpkin rolls with a cream cheese filling are by far my favorite dessert.
I have not tried to make either a jelly roll or pumpkin roll. I do love me some pumpkin roll, though! I seem to recall hearing somewhere that pumpkin rolls were hard to make, but I can't remember who or where I heard that, so it's probably a lie and I'll have to try to prove that wrong!
pssssssssst...saw Mumsy last night. Told her I'm doing my part to keep at you via the Interwebs.
Pumpkin rolls are really easy if you follow the directions on the side of the can of pumpkin we always use for our Thanksgiving pumpkin pies haha.
